Omer J. Bousquet

At 42, Omer has lived in VT since 1979. He presently works at NSA Ind. as a machinist and has many hobbies. He is a first responder at work and is head of the safety committee for 350 employees. He served on the Irasburg Fire Dept. for over 15 yrs. and the Barton Ambulance for 1 ½ yrs. He always enjoys helping out when he can.
Growing up on a farm he is very mechanically inclined and thrifty. He worked at Ethan Allen for 18 yrs. and is committed for the long haul. He has been married to his wonderful wife for 18 yrs. During that time he built his own home and he and his wife mentored an 8 yr. old boy, who is now 19, and he is still a part of their life. “The growing number of people in homeless situations leaves me looking for answers. I want to give people more good choices.”
