Casey Boyle-Eldridge is co-founder and executive director of Joshua’s House. Casey and Tom Fey founded Joshua’s House after recognizing the number of people who were in need of many services that forced them into a near homeless situation or became homeless because of economic issues.

For the past twelve years Casey and Tom have raised small amounts of money, and eventually began building a board of directors. This board now is the driving force behind Joshua’s House. Casey received a BA in Liberal Arts concentrating on Economic History from Norwich University. She completed her Masters of Education through the Vermont College. Casey’s studies in economic history fuel her desired to help those who are at risk of homelessness.

In addition to working with the homeless, Casey has worked in the substance abuse prevention and education field since 1998. After twenty-five years in small business consulting and financial management for nonprofit organizations Casey changed careers and entered the programmatic side of human services. She built a strong coalition among prevention providers as a New Directions Coordinator in Caledonia and southern Essex counties, and continues to work with evaluation and analysis of program outcomes. Casey recently worked for the Vermont Department of Education as the school-based tobacco Coordinator, and the Vermont Department of Healthy as a community substance abuse prevention consultant in northern Vermont. Casey is the 2004 recipient of the Kathy Fiona Prevention Award for excellence in substance abuse prevention. Casey is a Global Learning Partners Certified Teacher working toward her Associates status.
